It's slightly larger than a standard paperback, about 4.75 x 7 inches, and includes a "juvie" glossary at the rear

Dealer descriptions call it one of the rarest drug-related paperbacks, with a striking JD (juvenile delinquent) cover

It's a classic mid-century "dope pulp" — part of the wave of sensationalized JD/addiction paperbacks from that era, and Ellson was known for gritty NYC street-gang fiction (he also wrote Duke, Tomboy, Rock, etc.).
